Customer Control

 

Select - this will select a specific customer from an index, as shown below:

 

 

The customer can be selected from the index by searching for the required customer.

You can select the field that you wish to search by, in the above example we are searching by the Account Code.

Then by partially entering an account code into the Search For box, the customer list is updated to show only matching customers.

 

You can also filter the list of customers to only show customers that match the customer Type selected.

 

 

Next - this will select the next customer on the system.

 

Previous - this will select the previous customer on the system.

 

Create - this will clear down the screen and enter edit mode to allow new customer details to be entered.

 

Edit - this will enter edit mode to allow the currently selected customer details to be changed.

 
Delete - this will delete the currently selected customer and any associated data, e.g. notes, discounts etc. Use with caution as the data can only be recovered from a backup!

 

Change Account Code - this allow the account code for the currently selected customer to be changed. Changing the account code also changes the account code for the currently selected customer on all associated modules e .g. any estimates etc. for this customer will be updated to show the newly entered account code.

 

Reports

 

Detailed - this runs a detailed report for the currently selected customer.

 

Index Basic - this runs a basic index showing one customer per line.

 

Index Detailed - this runs a more detailed report showing customer address etc.

 

All Agreed Costs - this shows all agreed costs for all customers.

 

Expiring Agreed Costs - this shows all agreed costs that are due to expire within 30 days for all customers.

 

Select Report - this allow a report to be selected from the index of available reports.

 

Other

 

Transfer To Site - this creates a site with the same details as the currently selected customer.

 

Copy To Clipboard - this copies the customer contact, address and postcode onto the Window clipboard so that the data can be pasted into a letter or the like.

 

Create All In Sage - this creates all customers with a Sage account code entered into the Sage company details setup previously in the System Defaults.

 

Export Terms - this exports the list of agreed prices for the currently selected customer to a file specially formatted to be read by Cypher1 only.

 

Import Terms - this imports a list of agreed prices into the currently selected customer from a file specially formatted to be read by Cypher1 only.

 

customer Wizard - this uses a wizard to create a new customer.
