From the Values tab in the Estimating module the multifaceted Material Listing grid can be found;
On selection, the grid automatically displays every item in the Estimate
Use the Grid Header to sort by Section, Fix Number, Supplier etc
The list can be Printed or have adjustments made:
Having highlighted a group of items in the list , clicking on Multiple Edit allows the user to change:
Fix No. / Supplier / Material Class and prices, discounts and Agreed Nets; Fit Time and Labour Class The Database can be permanently updated with these changes too
Clicking on Best Supplier will perform a scan of the items in the list and cross reference them against Supplier Discounts and Supplier Agreed Nets Items can then be grouped by Supplier in preparation for printing
By grouping the Material List by Description, (see below) all the like items will be shown together, they can then be highlighted.
Then, the Swap Product option will open the database and allow all the selected items to be replaced by an alternative selection, at one go.
There may be items in the grid that you don't want to appear on the print outs; Highlight them and click on Remove Item They will reappear when the Material List is re-selected
The list can also be exported to Goods Required or a Purchase Order can be raised (needs POP module active)
