The Header Screen:

The Header Screen is where all the Estimate details are stored;

Number/Type/Customer/Site/References and Dates:

 

 

It is split into many parts:

 

Customer Area:

Account:

Unique Customer Account Code

·

Company:

Customer Name

·

Contact1:

Main Customer Contact

·

Address:

Address with Active Post Code and Email Fields

·

Update Box:

Check this box to write amendments back to your Customer database or to create a new Customer

 

 

 

Site Area:

Account:

Unique Site Account Code

·

Company:

Site Name

·

Contact1:

Main Site Contact

·

Address:

Address with Active Post Code and Email Fields

Update Box:

Check this box to write amendments back to your Site database or to create a new Site

This defaults to the User/Operative signed on

Manager:

Select from Drop down list of Users if different to 'Created By'

Date Created:

This defaults to today's date

Status:

You can alter this as the sequence progresses

·

Won Value:

Once won (or lost) enter value Tender went for

·

Tender In:

Use calendar to set your dates

·

Tender Due:

Use calendar to set your dates

·

Estimate Finished:

Use calendar to set your dates

·

Ordered:

Use calendar to set your dates

·

Job Start & End:

Use calendar to set your dates

Type (or paste in) as much text to describe the works to be undertaken. Text appears on the Schedule Of rates print

Load

Loads default Memo Index (See User Defaults)

·

Append

Add more text from the Memo's

·

Spelling

Check your speeling!

 

 

Menu Options:

Multiple Select

This enables Estimates to be selected from the Main Index and put into a grid that supports many features (See Multi Select)

Single Select

Select one Estimate to work on from the Main Index

Next

When a Multi Select has been performed, Next will open the next Estimate in that list

Previous

When a Multi Select has been performed, Previous will open the previous Estimate in that list

Reload Last Estimate

Re-selects the last Estimate worked on

Create

Creates a new blank Estimate

Edit

Allows the Header Screen of a selected Estimate to be altered

Advanced


 

Save As

Copies the selected Estimate and allows a new number (revision) to be allocated

View Kits


 

Expand Kits

Take the Kits in the selected Estimate and expands them to single line items

Clear

Clears the selected Estimate from the screen

Delete Estimate

Deletes the selected Estimate - irrecoverably !

Clear Postings

For use with additional modules only

Report


 

Estimate Details

Prints the Estimate Details Report for the selected Estimate (with output option box - Print/Preview Etc)

Schedule Of Rates

Prints the Schedule Of Rates Report for the selected Estimate (with output option box - Print/Preview Etc)

Selected Report

Allows the User to select a different report from a list

Statistics


 

Material Listing

Launches the Material Listing grid

Show Statistics

Launches the Stat dialog box enabling the user to interrogate Estimates for data matching certain criteria

Import / Export


 

Save to File

Saves the Estimate with a Cypher1 file extension in a specified location

Load From File

Opens an previously saved Estimate

Create Costing

Only available with Job Costing Module
